Rokuo Kehie Khawakhrie of Nagaland has won the Bronze Medal for India at the International Belt Wrestling Grand Prix held at Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
Announcing the news on social media platform X, Abu Metha tweeted, “Congratulations and Well Done. We are all so proud. The rest of the Indian team also performed admirably; unfortunately Venuzo Dawho could not play his bronze medal match due to an injury.”

Considering the participation as an excellent learning experience for the contingent, Metha added, “this is only the beginning of an exciting journey ahead.”
