Padma Shri Awardee Sano Vamuzo, Social Worker and Educationist from Nagaland was accorded a warm welcome by the Naga Mother’s Association, Kuki Mothers, ZMO, NWHDCPO, TUD, Tenyimi women organization, Chakhro Angami women organization, Western chakhesang Hoho, western chakhesang mothers Association, Chakhesang Mothers Association, Yorubami organization, Western chakhesang youth organization, Chakhesang Public Organization, family, friends and well wishers at the Dimapur Airport today.
Vamuzo currently serving as the Advisor to NMA, was presented the Padma Shri Award by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu during the Civil Investiture Ceremony-II held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi on May 9.

Sano Vamuzo was conferred the award for her exceptional and distinguished service in the field of social work, and for spearheading peace campaigns and championing women’s representation.
