Polling began at 7:00 am on Saturday in 58 Parliamentary Constituencies across 8 States/ Union Territories in the Phase 6 of the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Voting for 42 Assembly Constituencies in Odisha are also taking place simultaneously.
Haryana, NCT of Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal are the States/UTs where polling is underway.
According to the Election Commission of India, the approximate voter turnout till 9:00 am stood at 10.82%.
The General Elections 2024 is being conducted in seven phases with the last phase scheduled for 1st June. Polling has been completed in 428 Parliamentary Constituencies in 25 States/ UTs. In the Phase 7, the remaining 57 PCs will go for polling.
The counting of votes will take place on 4th June 2024.
