Mon: DC holds co-ordination meeting to review preparation of counting

Counting Observers for the General Election to the Lok Sabha Election 2024 – 1 Nagaland Parliamentary Constituency, briefed on the roles and responsibilities of the micro observers at Council Hall, Mon Town on Monday.

DIPR has informed that the Observers, Madhavi Sardeshmukh, MSN Babu and Sowmya N. Gowda. They urged the micro observers to be responsible and not to make any mistakes. They also added that the micro observers are the eyes and hands of the observers on the counting day.

Meanwhile, earlier on 1st June 2024, the Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma convened a co-ordination meeting to review the preparation of counting at Deputy Commissioner’s office chamber, Mon, in view of the counting process of the General Election to the Lok Sabha, 2024 which is scheduled on 4th June 2024.

The meeting was attended by Superintendent of Police, Assistant Returning Officer (AROs) (41- 48 & 55 ACs), administrative officers/nodal officers and others concerned.
