Additional Deputy Commissioner, Peren, Japheth Woch has informed the public that National Highway-129A (on-going construction) connecting Peren Town and Jalukie Town has been blocked due to heavy landslide near Old Jalukie Village on 2nd June 2024.

According to DIPR, the ADC has therefore advised all commuters taking this road to take the road diversion through Old Peren-Jalukie road from Peren town to Upper Jalukie and vice versa.
