The Career Guidance Training and Placement Cell at MGM College conducted an informative orientation program for 5th semester students on 24th June, 2024. The event saw active participation from both students and faculty members, along with esteemed guests from Emporium Skill and Training Institute.
The training featured renowned career counselling experts from Emporium Skill and Training Institute, Dimapur – Anirban Mukherjee and Awomi.
Mukherjee’s engaging presentation covered internship, essential training modules, including an introduction to company policies, team building, various career opportunities, brand familiarisation, and personality development.

His insights provided students with practical advice for navigating their career paths effectively. A significant highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between MGM College and Emporium Skill and Training Institute, marking a new chapter in the college’s efforts to enhance career guidance and support for its students.
The program was chaired by Peter, Assistant Professor, and commenced with an invocation by David, Assistant Professor followed by a welcome address from Dr. R.K.Behera, Vice-Principal, who expressed gratitude to all attendees. He emphasised the critical role of career guidance in shaping the students’ future prospects.
The program concluded with vote of thanks by Sangeeta, Assistant Professor, who expressed sincere gratitude to the resource persons for their valuable contributions.
