The MGM College organised an introductory programme for the National Service Scheme (NSS) on June 24, with the primary aim of informing and encouraging students to participate in various social service activities.

The event underscored the significance of community service and the pivotal role of NSS in fostering responsible citizenship among students, informed a press release by the College. The programme commenced with a warm welcome from  Lisathung Ovung, the NSS Prograrmme officer, who provided an insightful introduction to NSS. His address set the tone for the event, highlighting the scheme’s objectives and its impact on society. Following Ovung, Sentikala, delivered an in-depth overview of the National Service Scheme.
