The President of India Draupadi Murmu has appointed new Governors in the following States and Union Territories.

I)  Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde has been appointed as Governor of Rajasthan.

II) ishnu Dev Varma has been appointed as Governor of Telangana.

III)  Om Prakash Mathur has been appointed as Governor of Sikkim.

IV) Santosh Kumar Gangwar has been appointed as Governor of Jharkhand.

V) Ramen Deka has been appointed as Governor of Chhattisgarh.

VI) C H Vijayashankar has been appointed as Governor of Meghalaya..

VII) P. Radhakrishnan, Governor of Jharkhand with Additional Charge of Telangana, appointed as Governor of Maharashtra.

VIII) Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Assam, appointed as Governor of Punjab and has also been appointed as Administrator of the Union Territory of Chandigarh.

IX) Lakshman Prasad Acharya, Governor of Sikkim, appointed as Governor of Assam and has also been given additional charge of the Governor of Manipur.

X) K. Kailashnathan has been appointed as Lt. Governor of Puducherry

The appointments will take effect from the dates they will assume charge of their respective offices.

The President of India further has accepted the resignation of Banwarilal Purohit as Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Union Territory of Chandigarh.
