Hisole Magh becomes first Miss Tseminyu

Kohima: The beauty pageant with the theme ‘Beauty and Wit’ was organised by the Rengma Mothers’ Association

Hisole Magh, 22, was crowned Miss Tseminyu in the first edition of the contest held on 5 October at CRBC ground, Tseminyu. She is twenty-two years old.

The beauty pageant with the theme ‘Beauty and Wit’ was organised by the Rengma Mothers’ Association.

Ethel Kent, 21, and Christina Kent, 17, bagged the first and second runners up titles respectively, in the event hosted by Roupfüzhano Whiso.

Christina Kent also won Miss Photogenic while Miss Congeniality, Miss Perfect 10 and Miss Talented went to Tesinle Khing, Tenyeni Seb and Kecheni Kent respectively.

The jury of judges for the event were models Ketholeno Kense Vihieno, Gloria Tep and Mele Pucho, president of Northeast Beauty Pageant Organisation and Beauty and Aesthetic Society of Nagaland.

Altogether, ten contestants participated in the event. The three winners received cash award of Rs 1 lakh, Rs 70,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively. Winners of the sub-titles also received cash award of Rs 10,000 each.

Opang Jamir, Mr International India 2012, was the show director, choreographer and grooming guru of Miss Tseminyu 2022.
