Itovi Memorial Team Zhapu A won the 44th Black Panthers Club Akuluto Open Volleyball Tournament. The champion team overpowered United VK in the final match played at 0 point Akuluto, Zunheboto on 6 October.
The winning team won a cash prize of Rs 80,000 and the runner up was awarded Rs 30,000. The semifinalists were also given cash prizes of Rs 5,000 each. Certificates were also handed out to the players from the final match.
The best spiker of the tournament was awarded to Ahika Yeptho, The best setter to Jesse Yeptho and the best player to Danis.

The tournament was inaugurated by Kazheto Kinimi, MLA 31 Assembly constituency Akuluto and Advisor Civil Administration Works Division (CAWD)/Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Government of Nagaland, on 4 October.
