Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission, Meluri Block Women SHG in collaboration with district administration, Department of Agriculture, Forest Department, JICA & Rural Development inaugurated a marketing shed for a weekly bazaar at Meluri Town on 7th October 2022.

EAC Meluri Yithachu Thur, exhorting the gathering, said for the sustenance of a good market, healthy competition between individuals and groups of individuals is essential.

Short speeches were delivered by Phrumasie Nyuthe SDAO Meluri, Vivi Nyuthe Area Co-ordinator NSRLM, and Jitsiarho po field co-ordinator NFMP.

Assistant Conservator of Forest, Dzuthovito Loho inaugurated the Meluri women’s weekly Bazaar.

The programme was chaired by Tasi Nyusou Finance Secretary of the Block Level Federation.

The new asset is expected to cater to the needs of women-folk who are into trade of many vegetables and non-timber forest produce.
