The Shamator District Planning & Development Board meeting was convened at DB Court, Shamator on August 16, informed DIPR. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman of DPDB Shamator, Chubatemjen.
The Advisor for Youth Resources & Sports and DPDB Chairman, Shamator, S Keoshu Yimkhiung welcomed all the DPDB members led by the new DC for their new assignment in’the district. He also acknowledged all the outgoing officers for their contribution towards the development of Shamator district. The Shamator DPDB meeting has been fixed on the 9th of every month.

The following agendas were discussed and recommended by the board: Creation of New Tsurongto Block, proposal for recognition of Khonangpong Village, registration of Chessore Area Sports Association (CASA), registration of Tanso Agri-Allied Cooperation Society Ltd, Shiponger Village, proposal for construction of new District Sericulture office and upgradation of Sotokur and Mangko EAC HQ separately.
