Products crafted by Nagaland’s home-based entrepreneurs are now live on Amazon. This was made possible by a pioneering partnership between YouthNet and between Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME), Amazon, that aims to empower small businesses and expand their reach through the global digital marketplace.

YouthNet has informed that the initiative focuses on equipping entrepreneurs with essential digital marketing skills, ensuring compliance with global standards, and facilitating seamless online store setups. In its first phase, YouthNet facilitated a soft launch for over 60 women entrepreneurs, whose products are now available under the brand “Made in Nagaland.” This step is expected to transform local businesses by providing them with a global platform, unlocking new opportunities for sales and growth.

At the heart of the initiative is the establishment of the YouthNet Incubation Centre’s Facilitation Cell, which supports entrepreneurs in onboarding their products to digital platforms like Amazon. By providing this critical support, the project aims to foster sustainable economic growth and create a thriving business ecosystem in Nagaland.

“We are excited about the opportunities this partnership brings to local entrepreneurs, especially women who are the backbone of many home-based businesses in Nagaland,” said Nunesenuo Chase, Director of YouthNet said on the ground breaking development.

“This marks the beginning of a New Chapter; a transformative journey for our local entrepreneurs, who now have the tools and the global stage to showcase their products to the world.” said Neikepekho Shosahie, Manager of YouthNet Incubation Centre.

The program aims to continue onboarding more entrepreneurs in the coming months, further strengthening Nagaland’s presence in the digital economy and setting a new benchmark for regional entrepreneurship.
