Dr. T. Ao Trophy Planning committee prohibits live broadcast by individual or private broadcasters

The Dr. T. Ao Trophy Planning Committee has issued a circular prohibiting live broadcast of the matches by any individual or private broadcasters.

The prestigious Dr. T. Ao Trophy, scheduled to be held at Tuensang HQ from September 17 to 27 informed that as per its media policy stipulated by Article 25 of the NFA Bye-Law, any individual or private broadcasters are prohibited from taking or broadcasting live matches during this prestigious event.

ARTICLE 25:

  1. All the Commercial, Wireless, Broadcast, Interactive, Advertisement & Marketing rights related to the tournament are the property of the NFA.
  2. Advertisement rights on the match tickets belong to the host.
  3. The television, Internet rights and other media rights belong solely to the NFA.
  4. Television and commercial rights for the Inter District Football Championship 2024 (Dr. T. Ao Trophy) matches belong to the NFA.

Therefore, all concerned are advised to take note of the information and refrain from indulging in acts that is tantamount to infringing on the provisions of the NFA article as listed above.

“We appreciate your cooperation and firmly believe that your commitment to upholding these regulations will ensure a smooth and orderly execution of the event,” stated the Committee.
