The Sumi Baptist Church Kiphire Town (SBAK – Aizüto) celebrated its Golden Jubilee on 18th and 19th September 2024 under the theme, “Truimph of Joyful Deliverance.”

In the concluding service, Rev. Daniel Chishi, Executive Secretary, SBAK-Aizüto shared a message on deliverance found through Jesus Christ and further emphasised on the importance of forgiveness.

Dr I. Pihoto Khala President Executive Council SBAK-Aizüto extended Jubilee greetings and gave highlights on the history of SBAK – Aizüto church Kiphire. He noted that the church was first established in the year 1974, under a humble beginning with limited resources, land and church members. However, he stated that during the span of five decades the seed of the pioneers who started the church has begun to bear fruit and is now witnessing God’s blessings in the present day.

The Jubilee was attended by the church pastors, youth and women pastors of Kiphire town. A grand jubilee feast was hosted for all delegates and invitees thereafter. The jubilee celebration served as a reminder for all people to reconnect to their spiritual lives and live as true Christians in the eyes of God and men.
