The National Level Monitors (NLM) team led by S K Chauhan from the Ministry of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj visited Peren and held a meeting with the various Heads of Offices at DC’s Conference Hall, Peren on 16th October 2024. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Peren, Hiazu Meru.

During interactions, S K Chauhan said that the purpose of the visit was to monitor various programmes implemented by the Ministry across Peren District. He also informed that the team will conduct field visit to 10 selected villages to inspect various schemes implemented under various departments namely: MGNREGS, DAY-NRLM, DDU-GKY, PMAY-G, NSAP, PMGSY, DILRMP, PMKSY, Watershed component, SAGY and SVAMITVA.

DC Peren in his concluding remarks appealed the Heads of Offices to extend their fullest support to the team during their field visit to the villages.
