Nagaland faces mixed outcomes in Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2024-2025 and Col C K Nayudu Trophy 2024-2025

In the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy on October 22 at C K Pithawala Ground, Nagaland managed 50/8 in their 20 overs against Saurashtra, informed a press release by the Nagaland Cricket Association.  Alemienla was the top scorer with 11 runs. N Chavda from Saurashtra took 2 wickets for 6 runs. Saurashtra chased down the target in 7.5 overs, reaching 51/2, with Umeshwari Jethva scoring 21*. C D Charmy took 2 wickets for 10 runs for Nagaland.

Nagaland’s next match in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy will be against Jharkhand on October 24th, 2024, at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium, Surat.

Col C K Nayudu Trophy 2024-2025

In the Col C K Nayudu Trophy, Nagaland is playing against Goa at Sovima Cricket Ground. After Day 3, Nagaland trails by 95 runs. Goa scored 459 in 122 overs in their first innings, with Shivendra H Bhujbal making 164 and Chittem Devankumar scoring 80. Anil Gupta took 3 wickets for 80 runs for Nagaland.

Nagaland responded with 257 in their first innings, with Mughavi Sumi top-scoring with 56. Shadab Khan took 3/87 for Goa. In their second innings, Nagaland finished the day at 107/3 after Mughavi Sumi was dismissed for 57. Yugi and Vishal Sahani remain unbeaten at the crease as Nagaland continues their fightback.The match will resume today, October 23 for the final day.
