Reiterating the Angami Public Organisation resolution of 1993 on “One Government, One Tax”, the Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) has cautioned the workers from various Naga political groups to refrain from harassing, imposing taxation and extortion on any Angami business establishment or individual in particular and within the Angami jurisdiction in general.

“It is imminent that, with the onset of festive season, harassment and extortion from workers of various Naga political groups will significantly increase and therefore, the Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) urge upon the Ceasefire Monitoring Group/Ceasefire Supervisory Board and its agencies to be more vigorous in performing their duties and responsibilities, in order to ensure safety and security of the business community and general public,” stated the AYO in a press statement.
