S Supongmeren Jamir, Member of Parliament (LS) and President, Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) on behalf of the Committee expressed his deepest condolences on the passing of T. Tingyeih Konyak. According to a press release, Konyak was a  committed Congressman who held prominent positions in the party including President of the Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress (NPYC), President of the District Congress Committee (DCC), Mon and Vice – President, Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC), during the course of his stellar political career.

“His invaluable contributions and unwavering commitment to the Congress party and the people of Nagaland will always be remembered with great respect. As his mortal remains are being taken to Mon, our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones in this moment of grief. May the Almighty grant them strength and solace, and may his soul rest in eternal peace,” stated the condolence message.
