Noklak Police today observed Police Commemoration (Martyr’s) Day at Noklak Superintendent of Police (SP) Office.
Beginning at 8:00 AM, SP Noklak Dr Pritpal Kaur, IPS, took the General Salute during the event.
Kaur highlighted that the Police Commemoration Day is observed every year on 21 October in remembrance of the 10 Police Jawans from Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) who were martyred while defending the nation’s border at the Hot Spring in Aksai Chin, Ladakh in 1959.
SP Noklak paid tributes to the fallen and honoured the sacrifices and services of all sister law enforcement agencies to keep the society and the country safe.
Further, she encouraged everyone to take up the values of honesty and dedication to their service.

The names of the Martyr’s roll were read by Chinese Chakesang, NPS, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Noklak.
Prayer for the Commemoration was offered by Chaplin Mano, Noklak Police Fellowship Church.
The Afsos Parade was commanded by N. Phom, JA, SP Office and the Nishan Toli was headed by Hav Monglon.
Wreaths laying ceremony was led by SP Noklak Dr Pritpal Kaur, IPS, followed by officers of Noklak Police, 14IRP, Special Branch (SB) and all other security agencies.
