The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) has informed that Nagaland will experience light rainfall and cloudy moderate rain in almost all the districts till April 24.
In a weather update issued today, the NSDMA mentioned that these showers may be accompanied with thunderstorm and lightning at isolated places.
“Tuensang district may however experience heavy rainfall on 20th and 21st April, 2025. As a result, it is vital to take the necessary measures at this period to avoid lightning strikes and high winds which can disrupt communication and connectivity. Due to the risk of high precipitation in the hill sector, the State’s lowland and foothill districts, including Dimapur, Nuiland, Chümoukedima, Bhandari, Baghty, Tizit, and Tuli, are vulnerable to inundated waterlogging and flash floods,” it informs.
