Miss Northeast 2022 – the most prestigious pageant in the Northeast – initiated by North East Beauty Pageant Organisation (NEBPO) and presented by Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN) is underway and today the stunning Top 15 state winners and 1st Runners-up from all the eight North-eastern states landed in the land of festivals – Kohima, Nagaland.

These young aspirants are now a step closer to bagging the coveted crown of Miss Northeast.

The 15 contestants who arrived in Kohima this evening received a warm welcome by BASN at Hotel Vivor.

The mounting excitement is visible on the faces of all the Top 15 state winners as they now prepare to represent their home state in the grand finale of Miss Northeast.

The contestants will undergo eight days of grooming sessions before the grand finale on 3 November at State Cultural Hall, Kohima.

During the grooming session the contestants will also be addressed by renown resource persons such as Theyiesinuo Keditsu (PhD) – a poet, academic, writer and educator who advocates the revival of Indigenous Naga textiles, supermodel Ketholeno Kense Vhienuo and Dr Sagar J Abichandani, Celebrity Dentist & a well-known Pageant Smile Expert including Femina Miss India.

A charity event to support Children’s home has also been organised on 29 October outside Kohima post office and visits to various places across the state.
