Agape Hr Sec School holds Freshers’ Day

Agape Higher Secondary School, Kiphire held its Freshers’ Day programme at the school auditorium under the theme “Pave Your Path”, aimed at inspiring new students to take charge of their academic journey with purpose and confidence.

Gracing the occasion as the guest speaker, Nzanthung T. Yanthan, District Fishery Officer (DFO) of Kiphire, exhorted the students to view their life as a journey of choices and growth. “As students, you are constantly navigating a world of possibilities and challenges. Every step you take, every decision you make, and every goal you set shapes the path you’re on,” he said.

He encouraged students to adopt “Pave Your Path” not just as a theme but as a mindset that encourages them to take ownership of their journey, overcome obstacles, and create a future that reflects their passions and aspirations. He encouraged the children to embrace both big and small challenges.

In his message, the school’s principal, P. Lipichem, acknowledged that student life is often filled with academic pressure, personal struggles, and moments of self-doubt. However, he encouraged the students to see such moments as opportunities to grow and develop inner strength. “By embracing challenges, learning from mistakes, and staying focused on your goals, you can pave the way to a successful future,” he said.

As part of the celebration, a freshers’ competition was also held. The panel of judges included Shangzila, Jeviholi, Deepak Darmal, and Vilila S. Thonger, Assistant Research Officer (ARO), Department of Art and Culture, Kiphire.

The programme was conducted in two sessions. The first session was chaired by Aboli and Tizi, while the second session was chaired by Rosula and Alimre.
