Vice-Chancellor of Nagaland University, Prof. Jagadish Kumar Patnaik  called on Governor of Mizoram, Gen. (Retd.) VK Singh at Raj Bhavan in Aizawl on July 1, where they discussed a range of topics pertaining to higher education as well as matters related to the Northeast.

Prof. Patnaik was in Mizoram where his research scholars Brig. Digvijay Singh, SM, Commandant, Sikh Regimental Centre, and Col. Ajay Kumar Tomar, Commandant, 3 Cavalry successfully defended their respective PhD theses under Mizoram University.
