Revenant FC extended their lead at the top of the table to 6 points following a commanding 3–0 win over New Ecclesia FC in Gameweek 12 of the 35+ Mokokchung Football League Season 6. With 26 points from 12 matches, Revenant now leads the title race comfortably with just over half the season remaining.
In the day’s first match, Revenant’s Tongpangkokba scored twice (60’, 76’) while Arennungsang added another (71’) to hand New Ecclesia their second consecutive defeat. Talilepba was named Man of the
Match. New Ecclesia remains in second place with 20 points.
The biggest scoreline of the week came in the clash between Wasang FC and Nova SC. Wasang FC crushed Nova SC 6–2, with five different scorers contributing. Temjennungsang (7’, 70’), Chubayanger (16’), Imliwapang (40’, 47’), and Chubangangnen (52’) were on the scoresheet. Chubangangnen was adjudged Man of the Match. Nova SC, despite scoring through Johney Meitei (65’) and Imlitemsu (77’), continues to stay bottom with 8 points.

In the third fixture, Terokroker FC came from behind to beat Trebuchet FC 2–1. Bendangmongba T opened the scoring for Trebuchet in the 28th minute, but Terokroker responded quickly through
Supongmeren (31’) and Zulu Aier (34’). Imliyapang of Terokroker was named Man of the Match. The win pushes Terokroker to 19 points—1 point behind New Ecclesia—while Trebuchet remains fifth with 13
points.

With 13 gameweeks remaining in the 25-week league season, the fight for the top three spots has intensified while Nova SC’s defensive struggles continue to define their campaign.
