To discuss preparations for the upcoming Independence Day celebration meeting of all the HoOs and institution was on July 17, 2025 at the ADC’s Conference Hall in Medziphema  sub-division, chaired by ADC Medziphema, P James Swu.

The house also welcomed a new member Kedanye Thong, GHSS during the meeting. During the meeting the ADC emphasize the importance of delivering duties sincerely and efficiently and request coordination from all the Department for the successful celebration of the Independence Day Programme. The house deliberated at length chalking out the programme for the upcoming Independence Day.

SDO(C) Tsalemla Sangtam read out all assigned task to all the departments for both State and Central Government. The House also decided to set up several stalls, showcasing various aspects of local culture and crafts. The meeting was attended by all HoOs, Institutions, Ward Chairman and MTC Councillors.

In view of the upcoming 79th Independence Day Celebration at Mon, Deputy Commissioner, Mon, Wennyei Konyak, convened a coordination meeting on July 17 at DC’s  Conference Hall, Mon.

Works were distributed to all the Departments. DC, requested all the HoOs to be more responsible for the smooth and successful celebration of the upcoming 79th Independence Day Celebration. On account of the 79th Independence Day Celebration Mass social work will be conducted on August 7 in the District.
