Jawahar Bal Manch (JBM) Nagaland organized a one-day seminar on career guidance and drug awareness at Ighanumi village to inspire and guide the youth towards a brighter and drug-free future.
The resource person, Kaqheto Kughutu state chief coordinator JBM NPCC highlighted the core mission of JBM – to know about the Constitution of India.
He also shared updates on upcoming JBM activities across the state and the nation, which include “Say No to Drugs” campaign, Chacha Ji Painting Competition, Indian Constitution Quiz, JBM Kids TV etc.

Kughutu encouraged students to choose their careers based on their interests and potential, and advised future aspirants of competitive exams to begin early preparation using NPSC and NSSB syllabus. He warned that waiting until after graduation may be too late, especially as registered unemployment in Nagaland is nearing 1 lakh.
President of the Ighanumi Students’ Union Vimigha Swu also spoke at the event and encouraged students to grab the opportunity and showcase their talents through the JBM mission.
State coordinators Kavixu, and Shetovi Kiba also took part in the program and motivated the students with messages of hope and action.
The seminar concluded with a message to the students to stay focused, stay away from drugs, and rise with knowledge and purpose.
