In pursuance of the unanimous resolution adopted by 5 Tribes Committee on the review of Reservation Policy, and in full compliance with the directive of the Angami Public Organization, the Angami Students Union has directed all students under its jurisdiction to abstain from participating in any Government organized function, or related activity, including the upcoming Independence Day on August 15.

The ASU said the directive is binding and reflected united stand to uphold the resolution, protect the collective rights and assert the democratic will of the people.

The ASU called upon every student to remain steadfast, disciplined and resolute in this common cause.
