Addressing the gathering, the Electoral Roll Observer stressed that the accuracy of SIR data must remain the central concern. Reminding the gathering of the schedule set for the revision, she urged that all work be completed on time.

During a brief discussion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Lemlila Sangtam, NCS, pointed to several practical challenges on the ground such as, shadow areas with poor or no network coverage and technical issues that hamper the uploading of details.  She appealed to the political parties present to keep encouraging and supporting Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in their duties. ADC Medzephima, James Swu, NCS, noted that the mobile app and the portal are not user-friendly, which slows the work of those handling data entry.

The meeting called on Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) of 4-Ghaspani I and 5-Ghaspani II, together with representatives of recognised political parties under Chümoukedima and Niuland districts.
