In reference to the resolution adopted during the meeting of the five apex tribal bodies held on 9th August 2025, which calls for non-participation in all government meetings, events, and functions, the Five Tribes Committee on Review of Reservation Policy (CoRRP) has reiterated that the resolution remains in force until further notice.
In a press release, the committee advised all five apex tribal bodies- Ao Senden, Angami Public Organisation, Sumi Hoho, Rengma Hoho and Lotha Hoho along with their respective frontal organizations and constituent units, to strictly adhere to and enforce the standing resolution within their respective jurisdictions.

The five apex tribal bodies will also abstain from participating in the coordination meeting convened by the Department of Tourism, scheduled for August 18. Likewise, any similar meetings, events, or functions organized by the state government—at either the state or district level—shall not be attended by the five apex tribal bodies until the state government responds positively to the demands raised in our representation to the Chief Secretary Nagaland on August 9 last, the release added.
