The NEIMUN Foundation has announced the 10th edition of the North East India International Model United Nations (NEIMUN 2025), which would be held at Tetso College, Dimapurfrom October 24 to 26.

This year’s theme, “Youth, Peace, and Security”, draws inspiration from UN Security Council Resolution 2250 (UNSCR 2250) and will explore the role of young people in addressing issues such as conflict, poverty, drug abuse, small arms trade, and climate change.

Around 200 participants aged 16-25, including students and young professionals are expected to participate. The conference would focus on encouraging participation from underrepresented communities across all eight Northeastern states.

“NEIMUN is more than a Model UN – it is a movement empowering youth voices in the Northeast. As we enter our 10th edition, we celebrate a decade of impact while nurturing the next generation of global changemakers,” said Kevithuto Neikha, Secretary-General of NEIMUN 2025.
