Ward-19 Kohima moved ahead to the pre quarter finals of the 25th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy on October 3 during the match 26 played against PLLA Manipur. Held at I.G Stadium Kohima, the ongoing trophy witnessed Ward-19 Kohima scoring two goals with Bikash (24) scoring in the 6th minute and Kakhevi Assumi (13) securing another goal at 40 minutes.
Hemgoulal (20) secured the lone goal for PLLA Manipur.
Laba Jr (4) of Ward-19 Kohima was awarded Player of the match. The award was given away by Vizhoto Hibo (NPS) Commandant, 4th NAP Thizama.

Ward 19 will play against Sechü Zubza Football Club in the pre-quarter finals. Meanwhile, Michazou FC qualified directly for the pre-quarter final with Sadar Hill Football Academy, Manipur failing to appear in their third match. Michazou FC will play against Red Scars.
