Governor of Nagaland Ajay Kumar Bhalla has extended warm greetings and best wishes to the Khiamniungan community and the people of Nagaland on the joyous occasion of the Tsokum festival.
Tsokum, the premier festival of the Khiamniungan Nagas, is a time to offer thanksgiving to the Almighty for His abundant blessings and to seek prosperity and good health in the days ahead, the Governor said and wished that this festival strengthen the bonds of unity, promote peace and preserve the rich cultural heritage of the people.
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio also extended greetings to the Khiamniungan community on the occasion of Tsokum.

“As we seek blessings for a bountiful harvest, may the festival strengthen the bonds of unity and bring blessings of good health, and prosperity,” Rio wrote on X.
Rajya Sabha MP, S Phangnon Konyak extended her warm greetings to her brothers and sisters of the Khiamniungan community on the auspicious occasion of Tsokum Festival.
She also wished that the festival usher in peace, joy, and prosperity, “as we collectively invoke divine grace for an abundant harvest.”
