In pursuance of the directive issued by the Eastern Nagaland Students’ Federation (ENSF), on October 10, the Chang Wedoshi Setshang (Chang Students’ Conference) has issued a directive to all teachers serving under Chang jurisdiction not to participate in the pen down strike initiated by the JCC or any form of agitation.

“It has been clearly stated by the ENSF that all teaching personnel under the Eastern Nagaland jurisdiction shall not participate or observe in the Pen-Down Strike called by the All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA) scheduled to be held from October 14 to 16,” stated the CWS in a directive issued on October 13.

Accordingly, the Conference reiterated and mandated that no Teacher under Chang Jurisdiction will take part in the strike or any form of agitation that may disrupt the normal functioning of educational Institutions.

All concerned are directed to attend their duties regularly and ensure that the academic activities continue without interruption during the aforementioned period, the CWS added.
