Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has informed that the scheduled Public Rally of Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress President and Member of Parliament has been cancelled with immediate effect.

The NPCC stated that the much anticipated rally, which was earlier scheduled to be held at NSF Solidarity Park, Kohima on October 7 and subsequently postponed indefinitely due to unforeseen health issues of Kharge, now stands cancelled following continued medical advice from his medical team.

The NPCC has extended sincere apologies to the dedicated Congress workers and the people of Nagaland who were eagerly looking forward to the event with great enthusiasm and anticipation.

The party informed that a new date for Kharge’s visit would be announced in due course upon communication of a rescheduled programme from the All India Congress Committee (AICC).

It also thanked everyone for their understanding, patience, and continued support, and join in wishing Kharge a speedy and complete recovery.
