The National Building Construction Corporation Ltd (NBCC) is planning to invest a total of 2.35 Crore on Seyochung Sub-Division under Kiphire District, an Aspirational District.

In a press release, EAC Seyochung Moasunep K Jingru informed that NBCC, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), will invest in the construction of a Community Health Centre (CHC) building in Seyochung Sub-Division.

NBCC Ltd is also set to provide X-Ray machine, Ultra Sound, ECG, USG machine among others along with a BSL (Basic Life Support) ambulance in the second phase, Jingru stated.

“The company is committed to building such health facilities in one of the most isolated and remotest part of the country so as to ensure effectiveness of CSR implementation,” stated the press release.

According to the press release, Er Zuchi Humtsoe (DGM), EAC Seyochung Jingru and Dr Kaketo Yeptho led the NBCC team from Shillong to verify the site for construction on 11 November. The aim is to begin and complete the project “before the end of this financial year.”

NBCC will be one of the few companies to invest as part of their CSR in states like Nagaland, the EAC stated, further adding: “With the execution of the project the CHC Seyochung will be one of the most well-equipped Health Center in whole of Nagaland and Northeast.”
