Mokokchung Police organizes Mini-Marathon Race

Mokokchung Police organized a Mini-Marathon Race on October 25 with the theme “Run for Cyber Security Awareness.” The event was conducted with the objective of raising awareness among students and citizens regarding the significance of cyber security, online safety, and preventive measures against cyber-related crimes. The mini-marathon commenced from Police New Reserve and concluded at Police Point, Mokokchung Town. The event witnessed a commendable turnout, with participants from schools, colleges, departmental employees, and youth, among others.

A total of 153 individuals participated in the mini-marathon race.

School Girls

1st—Imnasenla (Rs 5000)

2nd—Imjungbenla Walling (Rs 3000)

3rd—Abigail Longkumer (Rs 2000)

School Boys

1st—Talimein Jamir (Rs 5000)

2nd—Lansucha (Rs 3000)

3rd—Chunki Chuchet (Rs 2000)

Women (Open)

1st—Temsunochetla (Rs 5000)

2nd—Tiasenla (Rs 3000)

3rd—Tajenlemla

Men (Open)

1st—Taliyanger Ozukum (Rs 5000)

2nd—Tekasanen Longkumer (Rs 3000)

3rd—Mukom C (Rs 2000)

While giving away the prizes, Addl. SP Y Tumchobemo Yanthan, expressed gratitude to all participants for their enthusiasm and congratulated the winners for their commendable fitness. He also urged everyone to remain vigilant and disseminate awareness among family and friends to safeguard against cyber-related crimes. He also cautioned the youths to desist from sharing sensitive personal images which may be misused by miscreants.

A total amount of Rs. 40,000 along with certificates was awarded as prizes for the first three winners in all categories.
