The Association of the Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) pastors’ fellowship held the 16th Annual Pastors’ Conference 2025 from October 24 to 26 at Changtongya town.
Held under the theme “Global Vision for the Gospel”, the conference brought together pastors, church leaders, and delegates representing Gorkha Baptist Churches from across Nagaland. As a key spiritual milestone in the AGBCN calendar, the event served to promote unity, pastoral renewal, and mutual encouragement among the participating congregation, a press release informed.

The main speakers of the conference were AGBCN executive secretary Rev. Dr. K Santabir Rai; Changtongya Town Baptist Arogo pastor Rev. Temshi; NCRC CTIN Town Centre pastor Rev. I. Lipok; and NBC Sechü Zubza pastor Joshua Gurung.
The comprehensive program featured worship sessions, Bible studies, workshops, and open discussions centred on enhancing church leadership and community outreach. Additionally, the conference included cultural performances, hymnal presentations, and fellowship activities designed to foster deeper bonds of faith and friendship among the clergy.
Following the main sessions, a special games and sports meet was organized to promote physical well-being, camaraderie, and friendly competition among pastors and delegates.
The AGBCN leadership chairman pastor Philip Rai, vice-chairman pastor Kiran Mohotoe, secretary pastor Andrias Pradhan, and treasurer pastor Andrew Shimray — extended their appreciation to the Nepali Baptist Church, Changtongya Town, for their generous sponsorship, hospitality, and dedication in making the conference a success.
The conference concluded as a unifying gathering, reaffirming faith, fellowship, and the shared mission of the Gorkha Baptist Churches across Nagaland.
