The Noklak District Differently Abled Persons Association (NDDAPA) was launched on 16 November by Deputy Commissioner Noklak Hiazu Meru at DC Conference Hall.
The NDDAPA is headed by Heno as the president. It was formed through the initiation of DC Noklak Hiazu Meru.
Speaking on the occasion, Meru expressed that it is an initiative which lies close to his heart. He said he was inspired to form this association so that every privilege and benefit would be availed by differential abled persons.

Meru pointed out that all societies have differently abled persons and it is everyone’s responsibility to love, respect and help them in all walks of their life. Proper job reservation must be given to differently abled persons, he added.
The Chief Medical Officer of Noklak, Dr Victor, explained the key provisions and eligibility criteria for obtaining disability certificates under various categories.
The Superintendent of Police, Noklak, Dr Pritpal Kaur, while speaking on the importance of creating awareness, lauded the DC for the noble initiative taken for the disabled people. She also expressed her love and affection for the differently abled persons by drawing in a story of one of her family members who is also disabled.
The president of NDDAPA, Heno, in a short speech, expressed the challenges faced by disabled people and urged the gathering to assist in them in their daily struggles.
The program was attended by members of the NDDAPA, parents and well-wishers.
