In view of the 26th Edition of the Hornbill Festival to be held at Kisama Heritage Village from December 1 to 10, the Kohima Police issues the following advisory for all tourists and visitors to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable festival experience:
- Adherence to Travel & Security Guidelines
All travellers and tourists have been advised to strictly follow the travel advisories and security guidelines issued from time to time by the Government and law-enforcement agencies. Adherence to these instructions will help ensure that the festival is conducted smoothly and peacefully.
- Proper Security of Car Passes
All car pass holders, especially those holding ‘Z’ category car passes, have been requested to secure their passes properly. Passes should not be left inside vehicles unattended or handled in a manner that may lead to theft, loss, or misuse. Any compromise in the security of car passes may affect overall movement and security arrangements.
