Rajya Sabha MP Phangnon Konyak has been appointed as Member of the Board of Governors of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).

A press release issued by Tenyebinlo Himb, Press Secretary informed that the appointment was issued as per the order by the Rajya Sabha Secretariat on November 28.

The appointment has been made by C. P. Radhakrishnan, Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, the press release added.
