The 3rd Kohima Inter-Club T20 Cricket Tournament 2025 is currently underway at Sovima Cricket Ground. The match updates for the second day held on December 9 are as follows:
1st Match – Dapfhütsumia Cricket Club vs Brotherhood Team
Dapfhütsumia Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first, posting 133/7 in 20 overs. Keneilhouzo Chielie led the scoring with a solid 62 runs off 45 balls, while Peter of Brotherhood Team delivered an impressive spell, taking 4 wickets for 27 runs in 4 overs.
In response, Brotherhood Team chased down the target, scoring 136/4 in 18.4 overs. Thejaselhou Yhome top-scored with 47 runs, supported by Veri’s 38 runs. For Dapfhütsumia Cricket Club, Mengu Sachü picked up 2 wickets in 4 overs.
Brotherhood Team won the match by 6 wickets.

2nd Match – Tribal Legends vs Greyhounds
Tribal Legends won the toss and elected to bat first, putting up a commanding total of 166/7 in 20 overs.
The highlight of the innings was Suben’s outstanding 91 runs, well supported by Imkunglong (35) and Lirenthung (21). For Greyhounds, Yhunshalo claimed 4 wickets in 4 overs.
Chasing 167, Greyhounds fell short, managing 152/7 in 20 overs. Samuel scored 34 runs, while Yhunshalo added 33 runs with the bat.
For Tribal Legends, Mhajan, Imkunglong, and Lirenthung took 2 wickets each.
Tribal Legends won the match by 14 runs.
Man of the Match: Suben for his match-winning knock of 91.

GNR Ground
1st Match – Elite Cricket Club vs P. Khel Eagles
Elite Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat, continuing their strong run with a total of 133/8 in 20 overs.
Apen scored 35 runs, and Zidu contributed 33 runs. Petsülhoulie of P. Khel Eagles picked up 2 wickets in 2 overs.
In reply, P. Khel Eagles struggled and were bowled out for 64 runs. Neizo was the lone standout with 19 runs. For Elite Cricket Club, Sepichem took 4 wickets, while Kelhousilie claimed 2 wickets.
Elite Cricket Club won convincingly by 69 runs.

2nd Match – T. Khel Knights vs Kohima Hornbills
T. Khel Knights won the toss and opted to bat first but were bowled out for 89/10 in 17.2 overs. Imlisunep top-scored with 34 runs.
Kohima Hornbills bowled with discipline—Vitoshe took 3 wickets in 4 overs, while Suneper and Vizale claimed 2 wickets each.
Chasing a modest target of 90, Kohima Hornbills reached 90/3 in 13 overs.
Vitoshe contributed 23 runs, and Vizale added 26 runs. For T. Khel Knights, Thejasetuo picked up 2 wickets in 4 overs.
Kohima Hornbills won the match by 7 wickets.
