The Nagaland Pickleball Association (NPA) will host the Christmas Charity Invitation 2025 on December 22 and 23 at The Fitness House, Dimapur. The two-day pickleball tournament is being organised to bring together Nagaland’s growing pickleball community in the true spirit of Christmas—competitive yet friendly—while giving back to society.

The event would be held in aid of Spring Harbour Home and Kohima Orphanage & Destitute Home, with all charitable proceeds contributed on behalf of the NPA and the pickleball community. Event surplus, patron contributions, and a monetary donation register placed at the venue would form the sources of charity contribution.

To ensure transparency, all donations would be monetary, and donations in kind would not be accepted.

The tournament categories are Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Veterans Doubles (40+) – age verification via Aadhaar, Mixed Doubles; and Inter-Club Championship (Grand Rally Format: 2 Men, 2 Men 40+, 2 Women)

Rooted in the values of the festive season, the Christmas Charity Invitation focuses on giving, sharing, and supporting those in need. Alongside competitive play, the event would feature live music, food stalls, a BBQ corner, and community engagement activities, creating a festive experience both on and off the court.

A Charity Handover Ceremony would be conducted on Day 2, formally acknowledging the contributions made to Spring Harbour Home and Kohima Orphanage & Destitute Home.

Participation is through direct invitation, with registration confirmed only after payment and form submission. Aadhaar verification is mandatory for the Veterans (40+) category.

Participants may compete in a maximum of two categories, and all official communication—including fixtures and updates—would be shared via WhatsApp broadcast.

The Christmas Charity Invitation 2025 represents the continued growth of pickleball in Nagaland, the power of sport in building community bonds, and a shared commitment to supporting children and communities in need.
