DPRO office Mon held a farewell programme in honour of retiring Peon, Wangman Konyak at the office on January 31 at DPRO, Office Mon.

Speaking on behalf of the office, DPRO Mon, Meyisusu Jamir thanked him for his dedicated service rendered to the department for the last 35 years and described him as sincere, humble and a very responsible person in performing his duty.

Speaking on behalf of the staff, Enyei Operator spoke wished him good health, long life and success in his future endeavors.

In his farewell speech, Wangman extended his gratitude to the staff and acknowledged all the DPROs, IAs and staff he had worked and associated with. He also shared his experiences with the staff and exhorted them to serve the department in the fear of the Lord.

Information Assistant, M Pelih chaired the programme. LDA R Shiklong pronounced the invocation.
