Yon Sporting Club registered a dominant 6–0 win over Airfield Colony FC in the third quarter-final of the ongoing 15th Lotha Football Championship 2026 at the Public Ground, Wokha. Yon SC’s Thursday win books its place in the semi-finals.

During the match, Yon SC took an early lead through Sentisang in the 2nd minute. An own goal by Airfield Colony FC soon after extended Yon’s advantage before Yongsen Ao struck in the 28th minute to make it 3–0 at halftime.

After the break, Yon SC continued to press forward, with Rhondemo scoring twice in the 66th and 89th minutes, while Renpithung added another in the 79th minute to seal a one-sided victory.
Meanwhile, the fourth quarter-final saw a closely fought contest between Nyiro Range FC (NRFC) and Old Changsu FC. NRFC went ahead in the 13th minute through Nchumthing. Old Changsu FC equalised late in the match when Ekonthung found the net in the 90th minute, forcing the tie into a penalty shootout.
NRFC showed composure under pressure and defeated Old Changsu FC in the shootout to advance to the semi-finals.

The semi-final fixtures are scheduled as follows: Nyiro Range FC versus Tsumang FC at 11:00 am, while Yon Sporting Club will take on Nitsuyan FC at 1:00 pm.
