Advisor for Home Guard and Civil Defence, Fire and Emergency Services and Relief and Rehabilitation S. Kiusumew Yimchunger today launched the Sampoornata Abhiyan for Aspirational Block Khongsa at Government High School Salomi in Kiphire district.

Speaking at the event, Yimchunger emphasised on the importance of community-led participation and stressed that collective efforts are crucial for the success of developmental projects, including the Sampoornata Abhiyan vision.

Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer, NCS, delivered the welcome address, providing a comprehensive overview of the Aspirational Block Program. The DC also led the pledge of commitment towards the campaign.

Awards were presented to outstanding performers among Nurses, AWW, and ASHA workers in the Block, the report stated.

Dr. Shelly Dahiya, Young Professional & State Nodal, and Ngayaipam A. Shimray, State Young Professional, Nagaland, also delivered brief speeches. Public Representatives from KAPO and Village Council Chairman, Salomi, utilized the occasion to highlight pressing issues in Khongsa Block at the event.

Sukanya, ABF Khongsa, chaired the program, while Yithachu Thur, EAC Pungro & Nodal Officer ABP, extended the vote of thanks. The event concluded with the inauguration of exhibition stalls showcasing locally made products.
