Advisor Mhathung Yanthan encourages stakeholders to be part of Clean Doyang Mission

Wokha: Cleaning team says they anticipate, hope for increased community participation on Tuesday

Advisor, Department of Agriculture and Chairman of District Planning and Development Board, Wokha, Mhathung Yanthan visited the Clean Doyang Mission site on Monday. He inspected the progress of the operation of clearing the waste that has accumulated at Doyang Dam in Wokha district.

Yanthan interacted with the Doyang Clean Mission warriors who have been tasked with the massive operation and encouraged them. The Advisor commended the efforts of the warriors and also donated a sum to show support to the team.

Further, he urged stakeholders of the State as well as Wokha District in particular to come and be a part of the Clean Doyang Mission.

Yanthan also thanked the State Disaster Management Authority and Wokha District Administration for taking up the project Clean Doyang Mission on a holistic approach.

The Divisional Forest Officer (Forest) too donated to the cause as a gesture of appreciation towards the team.

The warriors of Clean Doyang Mission expressed their gratitude to MLA Yanthan and the Divisional Forest Officer for their support and expressed that they anticipate and hope for increased community participation in the mission on Tuesday, which will be the third day.

The DPDB Chairman was accompanied by the Board members during the visit.
