Advisor Yhome holds consultative meeting in Mokokchung for rationalization of education system

A consultative meeting of Ao Frontal Organization, Churches and Ao Reju (Ao Literature Board) with Advisor of School Education and SCERT, Dr, Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, was held at Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall, Mokokchung on 2nd November 2024.

While sharing about the overall scenario of the education system in the state, Advisor Yhome stated that to bring about positive changes we need rationalization of the education system in the state.

Mentioning about the difficulties and challenges faced by the Department, he said any problems can be resolved and overcome with active collaboration from all the stakeholders of the state. To this effect, he said all the stakeholders must consult with the department with their suggestions so that they will be able to implement initiatives to address the challenges which he believes will be able to streamline the system and improve the quality of education in the state.

The purpose of the interactive and discussion session was to share views and suggestions for rationalization of the Education System in the state.

Earlier in the program, a short speech was delivered by President Ao Senden, Marsanen Imsong and welcome address by District Education Officer, Sentinenla while vote of thanks was proposed by Sr. SDEO Mokokchung, Tinumayang. The program was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji.

The meeting was attended by representatives from all the Frontal Organizations and Government Officials from the Education Department.
