A special exhibition football match between Aizawl FC and Nagaland United Sports Club (NUSC) would be held on June 6 at 7 p.m. at Chumoukedima Football Stadium.
The match, themed “Peace Pays”, will bring together football fans, players, and supporters for an evening of sport, unity, and purpose.
The exhibition match would feature players from Aizawl FC along with top football talents from Nagaland representing NUSC.
The Peace Pays initiative seeks to go beyond a single match by using the game as a platform for unity, compassion, and regional togetherness.
With tickets priced at ₹20, the event has been kept accessible so that more people can attend, contribute, and be part of the cause. The proceeds would go towards supporting underprivileged children, while the match itself stands as a celebration of football’s power to connect communities across the Northeast.
In addition, Aizawl FC would also play Mon XI on June 2 at Pangting Astro Turf, Mon Village. The match would kick off from 2 p.m. onwards, giving football fans in Mon an opportunity to witness a special football outing and be part of the wider Football for Peace initiative across the Northeast.
