The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has expressed concern over ongoing reports of alleged kidnapping cases in and around Dimapur and Kohima.
“While the full facts of these incidents are yet to be confirmed, the nature of these reports is alarming and warrants urgent public awareness and preventive action,” AKM stated in a press release on Monday.
Given that Mokokchung shares a border with Assam and considering the ease of inter-district and interstate movement, AKM urged the general public, especially students, parents, educational institutions, youth organizations, and village authorities to remain on high alert.
